MEMBER OF THE PHILLIES 40-MAN ROSTER... PERSONAL: 2001 graduate of J.I. Case High School (WI), where he played baseball and was rated as the best high school senior prospect in the state by Baseball America... Attended Oklahoma State University... HIGHLIGHTS: Rated as the No. 10 Prospect in the Phillies system by Baseball America for 2008... Selected to participate in the 2007 International League All-Star Game... Named a 2005 South Atlantic League All-Star... 2007: Second spring training as a non-roster invitee with the Phillies... Spent the entire season with Ottawa (AAA)... Hit .375 (18-48), 7 RBI through his first 13 games; went 3-for-4, 2 HR, 5/31 at Durham... Hit .293 vs LHP and hit all 6 HR vs RHP; hit .364 (4-11) with the bases loaded...
