| MAY WINNERS SELECTED FOR 125TH ANNIVERSARY FAN PHOTO CONTEST |
| IronPigs' Fan Wins Second Runner-up in Baseball Action Category |
| The International League is excited to announce that three fans have been chosen as winners of the May portion of the International League 125th Anniversary Fan Photo Contest. Hundreds of photos were entered for the May category of “Baseball Action”, and the three determined to be the very best were selected as the winners. |
| The grand prize winner for May is Scott Sears of Chesapeake, Virginia. Scott’s photo of Norfolk outfielder Luis Terrero making a seated catch will be published in the 2009 International League Record Book. |
| The first runner-up is Tom Theodore of Bexley, Ohio for his photo of Columbus Clipper Tommy Murphy. The second runner-up is James Horvath of Walnutport, Pennsylvania for his photo of a close play at second base involving Lehigh Valley’s Casey Smith and Norfolk’s Sebastien Boucher. |
| The Fan Photo Contest continues in June with a new category – “Baseball Fans”. Fans wishing to enter the contest can submit their best photos online by visiting www.ILBaseball.com/PhotoContest. Fans will also be able to submit photos in July (Mascots) and August/September (Ballpark Promotions). |
| The winning photo each month will be published in the 2009 International League Record Book and the winner will also receive a Kodak digital camera and four box seats to see their favorite International League team during the 2009 season. All winners will be awarded with merchandise and memorabilia honoring the 125th Anniversary of the International League. |
