Pigs and Yankees Suspended Due to Rain

IRONPIGS AND YANKEES SUSPENDED DUE TO RAIN ON THURSDAY
Heavy Rains and Inclement Weather Force Cancellation; No Make-Up Date Announced
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs series finale with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees on Thursday has been suspended due to inclement weather.  The game was halted with the IronPigs leading 1-0 entering the top of the third inning.  The make-up date has yet to be announced.
Due to the postponement, fans holding tickets to Thursday’s game can exchange their ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2008 home game.  All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office (no phone or internet exchanges). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability.
The IronPigs will now head to Pawtucket to play a two-game series with the Red Sox beginning Friday at 6:05 p.m. from McCoy Stadium in Pawtucket, R.I. Matt Provence and Jon Schaeffer will call all the action beginning at 5:35 p.m. with the AT&T pre-game show on flagship station 90.3 FM WXLV, 95.1 HD-2 WZZO, “The Digital Home of the IronPigs,” and 89.1 FM WYBF The Burn.
The IronPigs return home and open a four-game series against the Louisville Bats on Sunday afternoon at 5:35 p.m.  The first 2,500 kids 12 and under will receive a one-of-a-kind IronPiggy Bank compliments of Toyota.  Also, at the conclusion of all Sunday home games, all fans 12 and under can “Run the Bases” courtesy of Rascal’s Food & Fun.
Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown.  In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard.  Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.
The cost of parking for all IronPigs home games is $3 per vehicle.
Single-game tickets, new second-half mini-plan packages and group tickets for the IronPigs inaugural season, presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online by CLICKING HERE or by calling (610) 841-PIGS
