| July 6 -- The Lehigh Valley IronPigs received their first shipment of Official Home Game Caps (the fitted caps worn by the players on-field) from New Era. The caps are now available for purchase at the IronPigs merchandise store and online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com/store. |
| Caps can be purchased for $25.00. Sizes available are as follows: 6-3/8, 6-5/8, 6-3/4, 6-7/8, 7, 7-1/8, 7-1/4, 7-3/8, 7-1/2, 7-5/8, 7-3/4, 7-7/8, 8. |
| Fans have been requesting the Official Home Caps since the IronPigs unveiled their logo and opened up their merchandise store (1892 Catasauqua Road in Valley Plaza) in late March. However, all Minor League Baseball on-field caps must be produced by New Era -- and the IronPigs are happy to announce that the wait is over! |
