Remaining 2009 Home Games
Friday night’s game between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Park has been postponed due to rain. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader beginning at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at Coca-Cola Park. All gates will open at 5 p.m. for Saturday’s doubleheader.  Both contests are scheduled for seven innings and only one ticket is needed for admission to both games.
Due to the postponement, fans holding tickets to Friday’s game can exchange each ticket for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2009 home game.  All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office (no phone or internet exchanges). Ticket exchanges are subject to availability.
Tonight’s postponed fireworks show presented by Haldeman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury will be made up on Saturday, September 5 following the scheduled 7:05 p.m. contest.
The World Famous Phillie Phanatic presented by Scott Power Sports makes his final Coca-Cola Park appearance of the season during Saturday’s 6:05 p.m. doubleheader.  Also on Saturday, IronPigs Charities will be collecting necessary baby items such as diapers, baby wipes and baby food as part of the “Philling the Need” initiative at Coca-Cola Park.  The collection will benefit Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches and West Bethlehem Emergency Food Bank.  Each month, IronPigs Charities will designate a game and ask fans to donate items in an effort to assist local non-profit organizations.
Only General Admission tickets remain for Saturday’s doubleheader at Coca-Cola Park and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS or online at ironpigsbaseball.com.  Prices for single-game tickets remain identical to 2008 and start as low as $6 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area and standing room only areas.
With a 5-4 win on Thursday night, Lehigh Valley has now won four of their last six games and has emerged victorious in 21 of their past 33 affairs.
The pitching probables for Saturday’s doubleheader are as follows (LHV listed first):

GAME 1:   LHP Gustavo Chacin (3-3, 3.18)               vs.
RHP Philip Humber (4-6, 5.86)

GAME 2:   RHP Carlos Carrasco (5-8, 5.00)              vs.
RHP Jason Jones (2-9, 6.39)
Single-game tickets and group tickets for all IronPigs home games presented by Capital BlueCross, are on sale now and can be purchased at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office, online at www.ironpigsbaseball.com or by calling (610) 841-PIGS.
